GENERAL INFORMATION

Hotel rooms in different categories have been reserved for the delegates attending the 8 ICP Conference 2005.

• All Conference hotels are handled through Van Hauen Conferences & Incentives which has negotiated reductions in the standard rate for participants. We kindly request you to reserve accommodation at your earliest convenience. Please fill out the section of the relevant registration form that deals with this.
• Prices include a full Danish-style continental breakfast.
• Single rooms are small, but you will often get a double room at the single rate.

HOTEL LOCATION

Please note that two of the official conference hotels (SAS Radisson & Cab Inn) are within walking distance (5 to 10 min) of the Conference venue.
Copenhagen is a small city and the mostly light traffic means that it only takes 20 mins at the most to travel from one end of the city to the veterinary university by public transportation.
If you decide to find your own hotel (without 8ICP discount) the prime hotel area is around the Tivoli Gardens, the City Hall and the Central Station, where a large number of hotels are situated.
Another area is around Kongens Nytorv (Kings’ Square), Nyhavn, and the Amalienborg (Royal Palace). Danish hotels have a rating system from 5* down to 2*. The Conference hotels conform to this rating system.

There are other hotels than those managed through the conference bureau. You can find some at: http://www.hotel.dk/uk/ ---> type either "Frederiksberg" "Copenhagen" under Search by city. All "Frederiksberg" hotels are situated within a 5-20 minutes walk from the conference venue. HOTEL RESERVATION GUIDELINES

Reservation of Conference hotels should be requested by completing the application section of the registration form. All reserved nights need to be paid in full. We recommend that you book your room as soon as possible in order to reserve your first choice hotel and benefit from the negotiated rate between the hotel and Van Hauen Conferences & Incentives.
All prices are shown per room/per night and include breakfast and service charges.

Van Hauen will endeavor to satisfy all accommodation requests. However should your preferred hotel category be fully booked please choose another alternative from the hotel list. Your reservation is confirmed on-line.

Name changes are not accepted unless the proposed name change comes from the same university, institute or company.
Name changes will be processed on the basis of DKK 350 per change, per the conditions listed under ‘Cancellations /changes and Refunds’

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

Full payment for all nights is requested to guarantee your reservation. Reservation is binding, please see conditions for cancellation and refund.
Van Hauen is entitled to cancel your reservation without further notice if payment is not received in good time as per ‘Payment Conditions’ stated on the confirmation.
Please do not send any payments to, or change the reservation with, the hotel directly.
Please note that bank charges are the responsibility of the payee.

A wide range of guest-houses and sleep-ins are available in Copenhagen (prices without breakfast around DKK 100.00). Also, 3-4 person rooms in budget hotels may be an economic option.
