Invitation to visit Hospitals in Copenhagen after the congress.
The Danish Society of Anasthesia and Critical Care Nurses – in Danish FSAIO - are happy to invite a number of delegates to visit Critical Care Units and Emergency Units in Copenhagen after the closing of the congress. The hospital visits will take place Saturday afternoon 26th March. The visits are free of charge and will be guided by experienced Critical Care Nurses or Emergency Nurses. BADGES For security reasons only persons wearing the official badges will be allowed admission to scientific sessions, the exhibition, and all the social programs. COFFEE BREAKS Coffee breaks are included in the Registration Fee and will be served to delegates during the session breaks. LUNCHES Lunch is included in the Registration Fee and will be available for delegates during lunch breaks. CELLULAR PHONES AND PAGERS
As a courtesy to all meeting attendees and speakers, cellular phones,
pagers, and other electronic devices must be operated in silent/vibrate
mode within educational sessions. Devices that beep, ring, etc. are
strictly prohibited. No cellular phone conversations are permitted
within meeting rooms. CLOAKROOM Cloakrooms/own risk will be located close to Conference rooms.
OFFICIAL INVITATION Official letters of invitation to the Conference designed to help
overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries, will be
sent by the Congress Secretariat on request. Please note that this
procedure aims to assist delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission
to attend the Congress and is not an official invitation covering fees
and any other expenses. It does not imply any financial support from

VISAS Please note that Van Hauen Conferences & Incentives is not responsible for invitations nor issuing visa to this Conference. Denmark is a member of the Schengen Convention. Citizens from a number
of countries outside Western Europe and North America may need to have
a Schengen Visa before traveling to Denmark. DRESS CODE The Organizers recommend the following: SMOKING POLICY Smoking is only permitted outside the Conference Venue. In Denmark smoking is not permitted within closed public areas. TIME ZONE Wintertime: GMT + 2 (Sunday 27.March)wwp.greenwichmeantime.com TIPPING Prices in hotels and restaurants, and the taxi fare are calculated to include taxes and services. A tip, therefore, is at the client’s discretion. VOLTAGE Electricity in Denmark is 230 volts-50Hz INSURANCE It is recommended that participants take out adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their country. The organisers cannot accept responsibility for personal injuries or loss or damage to private property belongings to the congress participants and accompanying persons. LOST & FOUND A lost and found service will be available ot the service desk. CLIMATE AND CLOTHING Denmark has a mild climate with no extremes of heat or cold. In the early spring months of March and April, the average daytime temperature is
around 5-10 degrees Celsius. You may get the
daily weather forecast from the Danish Meteorological Institute. BANKS AND FACILITIES Bank and post office opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10.00 – 16.00 hrs. Both facilities may be found within walking distance from the Conference Venue. Cash is obtainable using most major credit cards. Outside normal banking hours up to a maximum of DKK 2,000 may be withdrawn from cash dispensers. The Danish currency is the krone (abbreviated "DKK" internationally
and "kr" domestically) which is subdivided into 100 øre.
1 Euro = 7,50 DKK. Due to widespread use of the national debit card system "Dankort",
many retail outlets do not accept international credit cards. Hotels
and restaurants commonly do accept a range of credit cards. Most bank
branches have external cash dispensers that accept at least Visa, Euro/MasterCard. |
