GENERAL INFORMATION A wide range of guest-houses and sleep-ins are available in Copenhagen (prices without breakfast start around DKK 100 per night). If you come to Copenhagen by car, you will find the cheapest parking at the airport, from which there are frequent and fast metro and train connections. Copenhagen City A small hotel in the neighbourhood of Vesterbro, an area with many immigrants. Bus connections to the congress venue. Rooms with shared toilets and bathroom. Single at 350.00 DKK and double at 550 DKK, incl. breakfast. Another good bargain, also within walking distance to the venue, especially if you will accept shared toilet and bathroom. The hotel offers rooms with from one to four beds, as well as some suites with bathroom. Single room from 495.00 DKK and double room from 595 DKK, excl. breakfast. At the charming Nyhavn, in the centre of Copenhagen , about 20 minutes from the congress venue, may be another, more cosy alternative. Prices from 595,00 DKK, incl. breakfast. CONGRESS HOTELS A

delegates attending the IBBY 2008 World Congress. Most of the hotels are
located in the city center and are well connected with the Conference

Comfort Hotel Østerport Within 500 metres from the hotel is The Little Mermaid, The Citadell, The Royal Theatre and large park areas. The National Arts Museum is also close by. Hotel Alexandra A beautiful hotel, full of tradition, situated right in the heart of Copenhagen by The Town Hall Square and The Tivoli Gardens. HOTEL LOCATION
Please note that some hotels are within walking distance of the Conference
venue Radisson SAS Scandinavia. The Conference hotels are spread throughout
Copenhagen, but the small distance and the mostly light traffic means
that it only takes 20 mins at the most to travel from one end of the city
to the Conference Center. HOTEL RESERVATION GUIDELINES
Reservation of Conference hotels should be requested by completing the
application section of the registration form. All reserved nights need
to be paid in full. We recommend that you book your room as soon as possible
in order to reserve your first choice hotel and benefit from the negotiated
rate between the hotel and Van Hauen Conferences & Incentives. All rooms are offered for the period 6 - 10 September 2008. Van Hauen will endeavor to satisfy all accommodation requests. However should your preferred hotel category be fully booked please choose another alternative from the hotel list. Your reservation is confirmed on-line.
Name changes are not accepted unless the proposed name change comes from
the same university, institute or company.
