One major trip is planned for Iceland. Travellers from North America should know that Iceland Air offers flights that stop in Iceland for up to two days with no extra charge. This offers the opportunity to see some of the hot springs and other sites near Reykjavik . Trips of a more touristic nature can be organized through the travel agency, camilla@icelandtravel.is

Excursion to south and south-eastern Iceland

Time:   12 to 15 June 2004

Description:   The field trip will be to south and southeast Iceland . It will be a blend of geology and history. The route is shown on the map which also shows the most important stops and the places where we will overnight. This field trip is very convenient for those travelling from Northern- America to Copenhagen . By flying through Iceland on the way from Copenhagen they can stop in Iceland on the way back for the field trip at no extra cost. Trip itinerary provides more details
Optimum number:   About 50 people, minimum 30 people required or trip is cancelled
Cost:   60800 ISK (705 euros, 883US$) single room, 53000 ISK (615 euros, 770 US$) double room, including overnight stay and all meals.

NOTE: Registration REQUIRED by 19 March 2004
Trip will be cancelled unless there are 30 people or more.
