Application for support to participate in xxxxxxx
Based on funds contributed from sponsors of New Web Test, the organisation
committee is able to provide partial support for participation in
xxxxx for researchers having difficulties in obtaining fundings
through other channels.
Priorities will be given to Ph.D.-students, junior researchers,
and researchers from Eastern Europe and developing countries.
The support will in general be provided as free participation
in xxxxxxx (i.e. no fee will be charged when registering for the
conference). Additional support for travel and accomodation amounting
to 2000 DKK (appr. 250 Euro) per participant may be possible depending
on the amount of funds raised and on the number of applications
received.
To apply for support, send an e-mail to mail@xxxx.dk, or a
letter or a fax to XXXXXX (contact information provided on
the symposium home page http://www.xxxxxx.dk) indicating if
you apply for a) free/reduced-fee participation, b) support for
travel and accomodation, or both a) and b). To be able to support
as many participants as possible, we encourage applicants to apply
for both types of support only if this is absolutely necessary.
Ph.D-students should specify how close they are to completing
their Ph.D. degree and must have a letter of recommendation
from a faculty member. All applicants should with the application
provide a short CV (max. 1 page) and a list (if any) of at most
5 publications in the last 10 years. In case funding is provided,
the applicant is expected to give a presentation at New Web Test.
Hence, an abstract must be submitted at the time of registration.
The deadline for application is xxxxxx, and notification regarding
funding will be give before xxxxxx.
